Using Technology to Draw a Live Portrait of Someone in Romania!

A person in Romania contacted me through my website, to ask if I could draw a portrait of her, via zoom! Utilizing technology to create a portrait of someone in another country was something I've always wanted to do, and here was the perfect opportunity. We had a great time connecting, and she was quite happy with the finished results. Below is a video of a little of the process. I used the reductive method of drawing, in which I tone a piece of paper with charcoal or graphite, and create the portrait using an eraser as my primary tool.
